Space Inventory

Rutgers is required to perform a space inventory for the computation of its federal OMB Circular A-21 Facilities and Administrative rate.  During this university space inventory, you will survey the room type (i.e. office, lab, etc.) and functional use (i.e. research, instruction, etc) of each room as well as to assign account indexes and occupants to the space.

The oversight of the space inventory is being handled via the joint effort of the Division of Grant & Contract Accounting and Scheduling & Space Management.

This inventory does NOT affect the assignment of space, but rather gives us a view of the current use of space
