Journal Entries

As a reminder you should be aware that all journal entries require a preparer's or submitter's signature as well as an approver's signature.  Journal entries can not be self approved!.  As in completing a TABER, the approver of a journal entry can not be a subordinate of the preparer or submitter.  The requirement for the two hierarchical signatures is just one element of the University's internal control system that helps insure only appropriate transactions are entered into the general ledger and the University's financial statements.  Thank you for your cooperation in adhering to this principle and requirement.
